36th Annual Atlantic Region Aircraft Maintenance Conference

Let the folks at Eastern Audio help you in the planning of your future event.

This past week, I had the pleasure of chairing the 36th. annual Atlantic Region Aircraft Maintenance Conference at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland, April 23-25, 2014. With an anticipated 250 delegates and 38 booths at the trade show part of our conference, considerable planning is required to set up this event.

The conference organizing committee set the wheels in motion last fall and met with representatives of Eastern Audio, namely Mary Catherine Oakley and Brian Ellsworth, to lay out the plans for the booth displays, power drop and the Audio/ Visual equipment we would require. In planning the Display area, we had to use the expertise and experience of Brian and Nichole Gollop, Conference Services Manager at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland, to ensure we had ample room for our Awards banquet set up. The knowledge of these personnel was a key in the successful Awards Banquet, Technical Program and Trade Show.

The conference was an overwhelming success and can be attributed to the teamwork of the Eastern Audio team, the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland staff and the ARAMC committee. Kudos to all.

In closing, I must mention the professionalism and skills of Curtis Perrin, A/V Technician with Eastern Audio. Having a technician on site during the conference enabled us to carry out our scheduled program without any technical delays.

It has been a tremendous experience working with these group of professionals and I would certainly endorse the use of Eastern Audio in planning your future event.
