Scouts Canada National Conference, Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland (300 delegates)

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • Two 7.5′ x 10′ screens and LCD projectors
  • Camera and video rolls
  • LED and moving head lighting
  • Audio and video recording
  • Webcast with custom viewer registration
  • Archiving and teleprompting

 

Federation of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Canada, Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland (500 delegates)

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • A double U-Shape setup with switching microphones and simultaneous language translation in the Main Room
  • Two 9′ x 12′ screens for presentations
  • Audio recording for all sessions
  • Power distribution system for 75 laptop computers
  • A separate room for presentation registration, as well as space for presenters to practice and edit their presentations
  • Mapping for a floor plan design
  • An Internet Café for all attendees

 

Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians, Delta St. John’s Hotel (850 delegates)

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • Main Room setup, including two 9′ x 12′ screens flown for camera and presentations, as well as broadcast-quality stage lighting wash with LED up-lighting
  • Multiple breakout sessions with projectors, laptops and PA systems spread out over three venues
  • A separate room for presentation registration, as well as space for presenters to practice and edit their presentations
  • An Internet Café for all attendees

 

Johnson Inc Corporate Forum, Delta Hotel & St. John’s Convention Centre (600 delegates)

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • 40′ x 12′ ultra-wide screen projection and multi layers for presentations and cameras
  • Two 12′ x 16′ satellite screens for camera and presentations and one a 9′ x 12′ support screen at the rear of room
  • Projectors, lighting and sound flown for staging, as well as custom LED lighting
  • A Concert Line array PA system with a digital FOH console
  • Multiple breakout sessions with projectors, laptops and PA systems spread out over two venues

Offshore Helicopter Safety Inquiry, St. John’s NL

The Offshore Helicopter Safety Inquiry was established on April 8, 2009, by the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) as the Inquiry into Matters Respecting Helicopter Passenger Safety for Workers in the Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Area.

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • 15 flat screen monitors for private viewing of documents and presentations in the Main Room, and two 52″ flat screen monitors for public viewing
  • A switching microphone audio system
  • A three-camera package remotely controlled from a technical room
  • Lighting and audio system
  • Recording of all video and audio sessions for archive purposes
  • Webcast for public viewing
  • Video and audio feeds with titling for media, and closed-circuit viewing in the Main Room
  • Closed-circuit viewing of video and presentations in three other rooms

Commission of Inquiry on Hormone Receptor Testing, St. John’s NL

The Commission of Inquiry on Hormone Receptor Testing was established by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Public Inquiries Act, 2006 on July 3, 2007. The Honourable Margaret A. Cameron was appointed Commissioner. The Commission inquired into and reported on problems with estrogen and progesterone hormone receptor tests conducted between 1997 and 2005 in the Newfoundland and Labrador health care system.

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • 25 flat screen monitors for private viewing of documents and presentations, and two 52″ flat screen monitors for public viewing

Association for the Science of Limnology Oceanography International Conference, Delta Hotel St. John’s NL (800 delegates)

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • Multiple breakout rooms for more than 900 PowerPoint and Keynote presentations over a span of three days
  • Reviewed presentations both in advance and on-site and customized a registration and presentation upload solution
  • All breakout rooms networked to one central database with a unique username and password for each presenter to download their presentation in their corresponding room
  • All presentations collected for archiving purposes
  • Two 12′ x 16′ screens flown in the Main Room
  • Projection of camera, video and presentations
  • All audio, lighting and projection flown
  • Poster Board sessions

For this event, Eastern Audio provides:

For this televised live event, Eastern Audio provided:

Marine Atlantic (Ship Dedication), St. John’s NL and Sydney NS

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • TV, lighting, and audio setup on the main deck for the Prime Minister of Canada and the Transport Minister
  • Decor for the main event, including carpet, chairs, and a 20′ velour black drape
  • Evening reception design and setup

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • Two 8′x6′ tripod front-projection screens
  • 42″ LCD video reference monitor for strictly-timed presentations, controlled wirelessly
  • Switching microphone system
  • Recorded sessions with digital hard-disk audio recorders for publicly available transcriptions

 

Destination Gander’s “9/11: Beyond Words” 10-year anniversary memorial service, Gander Community Centre, Gander NL

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:

  • Two 12′x9′ rear-projection screens flanking front edge of the stage, used to simulcast NTV’s in-house mobile EFP camera package program feed seamlessly switched with HD graphics, titles, and presentations
  • Two 30′ scaffolding towers each supporting PA line array stacks and collectively supporting 40′ of 16″ box rigging truss on which broadcast television quality stage lighting was hung

For this event, Eastern Audio provided:
